Repair café is a global movement. In Nijmegen, there are Repair cafes in various neighbourhoods. At the Repair café Waterkwartier in the House of Compassion, you can go for repairing electrical appliances, laptops, bicycles, etc. and mending clothes, among other things.
All repairers are volunteers from the neighbourhood. A voluntary contribution is appreciated for the repair/repair work (this allows us to buy new tools, among other things).
The Repair Café is every third Friday of the month from 1pm to 4pm.

The House of Compassion is a low-threshold place where many different activities take place that focus on compassion for people in a socially vulnerable position.
