Privacy statement House of Compassion

Within House of Compassion, personal data of staff, volunteers and, of course, participants(think name, address, emal address, bank number etc) is handled.

Personal data is collected primarily for the proper performance of our work and activities. You should be confident that HvC will handle your data carefully and securely.

Guideline for HvC is the AVG, General Data Protection Regulation. The General Data Protection Regulation (AVG) sets out the main rules for handling personal data in the Netherlands.

New technological possibilities and increasingly digital (processing) work make different demands on the protection of your data. House of Compassion is aware of this and ensures that your data remains protected.

View, edit or delete data.

You can send a request to inspect, correct, delete, transfer your personal data or request the withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to poels@huisvancompassinijmegen.nl.

To make sure that the request for access is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy.
