What does the House of Compassion do

House of Compassion is an accessible place where many different activities take place that focus on compassion with people in socially vulnerable positions. Compassion with, for example, homeless people, undocumented foreigners, people living in poverty and people who are socially isolated and/or in need of care. We organise activities for people in a socially vulnerable position, but at the same time also for people who are doing well. It is precisely the encounter between different groups of people that we strive for, as this can lead to understanding for each other and respect. In addition, we offer a place in House of Compassion to various volunteer groups of people who want to commit themselves in one way or another to -and in cooperation with- the groups that need our support and solidarity. We also support initiatives set up by people from our target groups.
