House of Compassion has a chance to win an Appeltje van Oranje. The Oranje Fund awards this prize every year to three social organisations that matter. Huis van Compassie was chosen from 348 entries and is among the last fifty. A voting day and pitch day determine which ten initiatives will receive a nomination. Queen Máxima will award the three Appeltjes van Oranje on 9 October at Noordeinde Palace.
